Life in HUTE for International Students

International House

Overview

The International House was offered for use in projects relating to international exchange in May 1995 with the goal of providing a place to live for international exchange students and foreign researchers, as well as to promote the exchange of education, scholarship, and culture.
Sponsored by the International Association of Kato City, the multi-purpose hall holds events such as the International Exchange Salon, opportunities to exchange with the local community, and lectures for exchange students.
There are tea ceremonies and ikebana meetings held in the Japanese-style room, allowing for students to also experience traditional Japanese culture.
