The Faculty of School Education fosters elementary school teachers with exceptional leadership ability in a range of subjects and areas accompanied by vast interpersonal skills and extensive expertise.

実践力を重視した教育課程

広い学問領域にわたる基礎知識のうえに,初等教育教員としての総合的な能力を得させることを目的として,4年間を通して教育課程全体の調和と整合性に配慮している。
1年次から4年次の4年間にわたる実地教育(教育実習)を開設し,各年次の実地教育の履修を通して,教養科目群,教職キャリア科目群,教育実践・リフレクション科目群,専修専門科目群の諸成果が統合化・協働化されるようにコンカレント型の教育課程を編成している。 。

A Curriculum that emphasizes Practical Ability

The overall curriculum is organized and coordinated over 4 years so that students gain the overall ability to serve as elementary school teachers in addition to basic knowledge in a range of disciplines.
Students are given a practical education (in educational practices) throughout their 4 years of study. The curriculum is organized into a concurrent form so that of results learning through liberal arts courses, teaching profession courses, educational practices and reflection courses, and specialized subjects courses are integrated and incorporated through each year of practical education.

複雑かつ急激に変化する現代社会において求められる,初等教育教員としての教養を培うことを目的とし,基礎的アカデミック能力科目,社会課題探究科目,理数系基礎科目及び表現コミュニケーション科目から構成される。 諸学問領域において蓄積されてきた知識を活かしながら,幅広い視野から問題の全体像とその本質を把握し,学生自身が主体的かつ協働的に探究していくことを目指す。

The goal is to equip students with liberal education that is necessary for a qualified elementary education teacher and required in today's complicated and rapidly changing society. The liberal arts subjects include Fundamental Academic Capability, Social Issue Research, Fundamental Science and Mathematics, and Expression Communication.
The aim is to help students understand the general picture of issues and their essence from a wide range of views and promote research voluntarily and collaboratively by utilizing their accumulated knowledge in the fields of various studies.

The purpose is to provide students with knowledge and experience related to the theories and practice of school education, such as the awareness of pedagogy; fundamental theories of pedagogy; education processes and instruction methods; student instruction, education consultation and career guidance.

初等教育教員としての共通の基盤の上に,学生の資質,適性等に応じて,特定の専門分野についての指導能力を高め,また,生涯を通じて,教員としての専門性を持ち,研究を推進しうる能力・態度を培うため,学生の選択による専修のコースにより,特定の分野について深く履修するよう専修専門科目を開設する。

Courses in specialized studies enabling students to deepen their knowledge in the area of specialization they select, based on the common needs of kindergarten and elementary school teachers. The aim of these courses is not only to enhance the ability of students to teach within their specialized field according to their inclination and aptitude, but also to improve their competence and foster an attitude conducive to continuing study throughout their teaching career in order to improve their expertise as teachers.
