Hyogo University of Teacher Education:Detailed Rules for Using the Communal Spaces of International House

(Purpose)Article 1.

These detailed rules govern necessary matters concerning the use of the communal spaces of the International House of Hyogo University of Teacher Education(hereafter referred to as "the House").

(Communal spaces)Article 2.

The communal spaces of the House are as follows:

  1. Multi-purpose hall

  2. Japanese room

(Users)Article 3.
  1. The following persons may use the communal spaces:

  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the above clause, persons other than residents when accompanied by a resident(s)

  3. Other persons approved by the Director.

(Use by residents, etc.)Article 4.

Residents, etc. provided for in Clause 1, Items 1. and 2. of the above article cannot use the communal spaces when persons approved under Clause 1, Item 2. wish to use them.

(Days and times of use)Article 5.
  1. The communal spaces can be used: Monday through Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. excluding the period from December 28 to January 4 and national holidays prescribed in the law concerning national holidays(Law No. 178, 1948)

  2. The Director may change the days or times of use stipulated in the above clause if necessary.

(Application for use, etc.)Article 6.
  1. Persons stipulated in Clause 1, Item of Article 3 wishing to use the communal spaces shall, in principle, submit an Application to Use the Communal Facilities of International House(appended overleaf)at least 7 days in advance.

  2. Residents, etc. wishing to use the Japanese room should obtain the approval of the Director.

(Cancellation of permission for use, etc.)Article 7.

If a person approved under the above Article("the User")is considered to have violated these Rules or causes a hindrance to the proper administration of the House, the Director may cancel permission for use or order the activities to cease.

(Compensation)Article 8.

If the user, whether on purpose or through negligence, causes any loss, damage or soiling to the facilities, etc., this must be reported immediately and compensation paid to restore the property to its original condition.
