3. To promote the study of educational practices:

We promote research that connects and combines theory and practice in education (the"Study of Educational Practices"), and we train outstanding researchers.

We serve as a leading model for teacher education and training by constantly monitoring educational issues and needs in Japan and overseas and by actively developing and improving pioneering curricula and methods of instruction in response to the demands of society.
