- This journal publishes original articles contributing to the construction and development of the science of school education, written by the faculty members and students of the Joint Graduate School, the faculty members of each constituent university, and researchers in and outside Japan.
- Articles to be published are examined by reviewers and are proved to have a high standard of quality.
- Articles are to be written in Japanese or English.
