Purpose of Establishment
International House was established by Hyogo University of Teacher Education in May 1995 for the purpose of providing International students and researchers with living accommodation, and to serve as a venue for international exchange activities that contribute to the promotion of international communication in the fields of education, academic studies, and culture.
Management
The House is managed by Hyogo University of Teacher Education, and is under the responsibility of the President.
Important matters concerning administration of the House are deliberated by the Student Affairs Committee.
The House is administered by the following sections:
- the Student Support Team of the Student Support Division (0795-44-2052) -deals with moving in and leaving, payments, etc.;
- the International Exchange Team of the Student Support Division（0795-44-2043）-deals with all other matters．

The House comprises three reinforced concrete buildings: two accommodation buildings, one for singles and one for couples and families, and a building for communal activities.
The total floor area is 1,371 square meters.
